Event Information

Registration

Registration on the web app includes the prize pool entry fees only, Green fees are not included.

When you register for a tournament, you will only be reserving your tee time and paying in full in-person at the golf course. Green fees will be listed on the Event Info page for members and non-members. Tee times will be assigned upon registration.

How to register:

• Go to the Event Info page and press the Select Teammate button to select your teammate
• Click Register and you have the option to pay for yourself or you and your teammate

Check-in

Check-in to the golf course 30 min before the tournament and pay your green fees.

Tournament Format

The tournament format is 2 man teams. Game format will be Best Ball or Scramble.

Start type is tee time and tee times are randomly assigned to teams as they register for the tournament.

Green Fees

Green Fees are listed for members and non-members and will be paid in full in-person at the golf course.

Tee Box Distribution & Handicaps

By using a system where players play from tee boxes associated with handicaps, it will allow players of all skill levels to compete in the same tournament.

Example: A course with 4 Tee boxes. Each individual player will play from following tee boxes.

Black Tee Box 6,900 YardsMen, 0-7 Handicap

Blue Tee Box 6,500 YardsMen, 8-14 Handicap

Gold Tee Box 6,100 YardsMen, 15+ and Ladies, 0-7 Handicap

Red Tee Box 5,500 YardsLadies, 8+ Handicap

Score Card

A digital scorecard and tournament leaderboard will be provided. Each player's tee box will be indicated on the scorecard. The scorecard will have an opponent score verification feature.

Each team will be responsible for verifying their opposing team's score. Each team will enter their score then verify the opponent's score hole by hole, to ensure integrity of the scores.

Prizes

Prize pool payouts will be available and listed on each tournament's Event Info page.

Example: If there are 10 teams with $100 entry fee, we have:

Prizes will be distributed to user's accounts once all scorecards are completed, verified, and reviewed. Prize pools advertised are based on full fields and may be adjusted based on entries.

Cancellation

A team may cancel outside of 5 days prior to the event and receive a full credit refunded to their user accounts. If a team cancels within 5 days, they will only receive a credit to accounts if another team fills their spot.

Public & Private Tournaments

The tournaments will be either open to all public or private. That will be indicated on the tournament listing. Users can email GolfADay and request a private tournament for large groups accessible by password only. Private golf courses can also sign up and have private tournaments accessible to members only with a password.
